Janet joined in the 12th anniversary celebrations of Parkinson's WA's Nurse Specialists Service. The event was organised at the organisation's premises at The Niche, where the Minister for Health, Hon Dr Kim Hames was the Guest-of-Honour.

The service has grown in leaps and bounds. The State Government has provided $90,000 funding in 2010 for a period of 3 years. This means all 3 nurse specialists are now funded by the Government.  Parkinson's WA is hoping to add another nurse onto Nurse Specialists Service.

Janet, who is Patron of Parkinson's WA, congratulated the nurses for their hard work and dedication.  They are seen here with Janet, from left, Jenny Taylor, Jo Chadwick and Janet McLeod.
